Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Virada LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you use the Jump Start mobile application (the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

The short version: Jump Start runs entirely on your device. There are no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share your personal information. Your workouts, videos, and health data never leave your phone unless you explicitly share them yourself.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The Service stores the following information locally on your device only. None of it is transmitted to us or to any third party:

Workout Data

• Completed plan sessions, timers, and freestyle sessions
• Jump counts, pace, clean-run lengths, rhythm scores, and session durations
• Personal records and streaks
• Custom interval workouts you create

Camera Video and Jump Counting

If you enable camera features, the front camera is used to count jumps and, optionally, to record your session. All processing runs on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Recorded clips and highlight reels are saved to the app's local storage on your device. No video or camera data is ever uploaded, analyzed remotely, or shared, unless you choose to share or save a reel yourself using the iOS share sheet.

Health and Heart Rate Data

If you enable Apple Health sync, the Service writes your jump rope workouts and estimated calories to Apple Health, and stores heart rate and calorie summaries with your session data on-device. If you pair a Bluetooth heart rate monitor, readings are displayed live and stored with your session on-device. Health data is used only to show your own stats. We never use health data for advertising, and we never share it with third parties. Health data written to Apple Health is governed by Apple's privacy protections and can be viewed or deleted in the Health app.

Preferences

• Settings such as voice coach, camera, reminders, and toggles
• Local notification schedules for workout reminders

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Jump Start does not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or any account information
• Location or GPS data
• Contacts or address book information
• Advertising identifiers or device fingerprints
• Browsing history or activity outside the app
• Any data transmitted off your device

We do not use analytics services, tracking pixels, cookies, or any third-party SDKs that collect data. The app makes no network requests to our servers, because we have none.

4. Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive only an on-device entitlement confirming the purchase, never your name, payment details, or billing information. Purchases can be restored on any device signed into the same Apple Account.

5. Permissions

The Service requests permissions only for the features you turn on, and every feature degrades gracefully if you decline:

• Camera — jump counting and session filming
• Apple Health — logging workouts and calories
• Bluetooth — connecting a heart rate monitor
• Notifications — local workout reminders (no push servers involved)

6. Data Retention and Deletion

• In the app: You can delete recorded videos, highlight reels, custom workouts, and logged sessions at any time
• Apple Health: Workouts the app logged can be deleted in the Health app
• Everything: Deleting the app deletes all app data from your device

Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on any server.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you are under the age required to consent to this policy in your jurisdiction, please use the Service with a parent or guardian's involvement.

8. Your Rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA grant rights over personal data that organizations collect about you. Jump Start collects none, so there is nothing for us to access, export, correct, or erase; your data lives on your device under your control. 9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. If the app ever changes how it handles data, for example by adding an online feature, we will update this policy before that change ships. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
